My thoughts:
I definitely have a love affair with body scrubs and I love to test a lot of them out. This product stood out to me in a couple of ways and was definitely something that caught my attention. The first thing is the texture of this body scrub. It is like the name suggests and it does have a more gel like feel. This makes the texture unique and kind of fun to get your hands into, but it also allows it to just glide onto your skin when applied.
I also noticed a difference in how this is applied and how it feels immediately after. It turns into a really nice silky texture that is unlike any other body scrub I've tried. It also allows you to cover a greater part of your body with less product which is great since this does cost $40. I think the price tag can be well worth it for the way it makes you feel and for how great your skin looks and feels afterwards. I am more sensitive to scents, but this fragrance did not bother me one bit. It is strong enough that the scent does linger and not fade away soon after a shower, however, it is also gentle enough not to irritate the senses. I fell in love with this at first try and my boyfriend immediately noticed and comment that I smelled really great too. I thought my skin was soft to the touch and using the product just made me feel really pampered and beautiful and that is a feeling you can't quite put a price tag on! This may be a splurge item, but I don't think you'll regret your splurge at all, so go out and enjoy, pamper yourself and relax!
