My thoughts:
I think some of the colors are worth the $19 price tag whereas personally I probably wouldn't spend that money just for a neutral glittery gloss. I'm more of a lipstick wearer than a gloss wearer because I do want that pigmented color and I'm not as big of a fan of a glossy look. Some of the glosses had a more noticeable vanilla scent whereas others I could barely smell it and the gloss had more of just a plain gloss type smell.

These do have a slightly sticky and tacky feel to them. It's nothing that was too irritating to me, but if you don't like a gloss that is sticky at all, you may not like these. You can definitely tell that you have something on your lips, but they aren't uncomfortable to wear. As the gloss wears, you can still feel a slight stickiness on your lips. Some of the more opaque matte shades did a better job at minimizing the lines on my lips whereas some of the more sheer and glittery shades made them noticeable. The staying power was pretty good for a gloss, around 4 hours or so.

My personal favorite color is True Love which is a gorgeous pure red color with amazing pigmentation, especially for a gloss. If I had to pick just one color out of this collection, that is the one that I'd pick. I think it's a red that would be flattering on a lot of women and it's definitely worth the price tag. My second pick would be Blushing Bride as it is just such a nice wearable everyday neutral. I like that this is more opaque than some of the other neutral colors and that it doesn't have glitter in it. A lot of it is just a personal preference in color, pigmentation and finish. I really don't think you can go too wrong with any of these colors as I found all of them to be flattering. While these aren't my favorite of the entire line of Tarte products as I'm more of a fan of lipstick like products like the LipSurgence Power Pigments, I was not disappointed overall with these in the gloss category. I think gloss fans will probably delight in this collection.

If you haven't checked out my review on the cheek stains and power pigment lipsurgences, you can do so here. True Love was also one of my favorites of that bunch. Tarte had such a great Spring collection and I'm so excited they've extended that greatness to their Summer collection. Stay tuned as I'll be bringing you more thoughts and reviews on some Tarte Summer 2014 products!
