Lipstick Queen Vesuvius Liquid Lips {Review}

Lipstick Queen Vesuvius Liquid Lips in Blush

Lipstick Queen has released a new collection of innovative lip products. What is truly unique about this product is that it is a lipstick in liquid form. This product comes in six gorgeous pigmented shades. I chose Blush which is described as a smoldering natural peach. I normally gravitate towards bright and vibrant pinks and reds, but I was really on the search for that perfect no fuss every day neutral. Blush is definitely that color. Keep reading for more product information and my final thoughts!

Final Thoughts:
  • This was easy to apply with the brush applicator. You only need a small amount of the product for full coverage. The bottom of the product twists up and product control is not an issue. This is just a simple twist bottom, there is no clicking or pushing of a button to get product up.
  • This is true to it's name and is more of a blush shade to me but there is some peach to it.
  • This felt hydrating on my lips. The appearance once applied really does appear as lipstick. However, this is a little thicker feeling than most lipsticks and seems almost a lipstick/gloss hybrid formulation in some ways.
  • This is slightly sticky or tacky and has a slight mint feel when first applied.
  • Wear was 3-4 hours.
Overall I'm really loving this natural blush color. It is such a wearable bright shade that is super easy to apply. I'm very intrigued by the liquid lipstick concept and I do feel that once applied this really does have the appearance of a lipstick, but it does feel different than other traditional lipsticks.
