Three Color Saving Products for Treated Hair:
My Fall Hair Loves
I've probably cut back more than ever on getting my hair professional done. Although I'm saving money by not going to the salon as much, that doesn't mean that I want my color from a box to look like it came from a box! That's why I've been investing some extra time in finding some lust worthy product to keep my color treated looks looking great! Contains press samples.
Ouidad Color Sense Color Preserving Conditioner, $22
I'm really loving this because I can see a noticeable difference after use. I use this about once a week to once every couple of weeks and leave it on for 10 minutes in a hot shower. I blow dried and straightened my normally curly hair after to really get a visual look at the results and I could definitely tell that my hair was easier to manage and looked shinier. I look forward to long term use of this product to keep my color looking great!
L'Occitane Repairing Mask, $32essential oils - Angelica, Lavender, Geranium, Ylang-ylang and Patchouli - plus sunflower and wheat oils. Particularly recommended for color and chemically-treated hair, this hair mask nourishes and deeply restores capillary fiber. Repairing, stimulating and regenerating, it protects against the damaging effects of hair heat treatments (blow dryer, curling iron, hot rollers etc.) and environmental stresses (sun, pollution etc.). This rich and silky cream leaves your hair shiny, soft, and smooth.
I pretty much love all products from L'Occitane and this is definitely no exception. This has a really thick creamy feel to it and a slightly minty scent that is invigorating. I've been using this about once a week for several weeks. My hair definitely feels silky, soft and smooth after and the color (which I did from a box) has stayed looking great!
Organix Weightless Healing Oil, $7
Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Weightless Healing Dry Oil is a blend of Moroccan argan oil spray that infuses hair with veil of shine, heals split ends, gives color and highlights a multifaceted glow and prevents static flyaways.
This is super lightweight as the name suggests. It has a very fine mist which I love. Other hair oil products in spray form sometimes have the problem of spraying too much in a concentrated area, leaving your hair looking greasy or oily. This product does not have that problem at all which is one of the reasons I love it. The other main reason is because it instantly smooths frizz. Even better, it retails around $7!
