LORAC Holiday Sets at Kohl's!

You may have already heard exciting news about some high-end makeup at Kohl's. I find it very exciting that brands like CARGO, the Balm, Essie, Pur Minerals and of course LORAC will now be more readily available for all. There are some very cool LORAC palettes that are coming to Kohl's. Until very recently, we didn't even have a Sephora in town and there was nowhere to purchase these items. So far, I've been hearing there have been limited store sightings, but these are available online for now, and hopefully soon in most Kohl's stores. I don't believe you can use Kohl's coupons on these items, but if you earn Kohl's cash, you should be able to use it towards a makeup purchase, making these much more affordable.

1. I'm very pleased with the offerings at Kohl's and the value of some of the exclusive sets I've seen offered there. I'm especially excited for the exclusive Rockin' Red Hot Eye & Lip Palette Set which retails for $25 but is OVER a $150 value!! This features three palettes!
  • Sultry lip palette: 7 creamy lipsticks & 3 lip glosses add a splash of color to your lips.
  • Sexy eyeshadow palette: 12 matte eyeshadows offer perfected color.
  • Smokey eyeshadow palette: 12 shimmering eyeshadows offer a hint of sparkle.
    • NOTE: Website indicates this is 3 palettes, press information and product in-store showed only 2 palettes.

2. Rockin' Red Hot Lashes Set. Retails for $23 and is a $33 value. This is a duo which features a red eye lash curler and PRO mascara, the perfect pair for any makeup lover.

3. Rockin' Red Hot Mini Glosses To Go. Retails for $20 and is a $55 value. This set contains six shades of paraben free glosses packed with antioxidants Acai Berry, Pomegranate, Grape Seed and Vitamins A, C & E. Colors include Amp (Nude), Electric (Pink Nude), Groupie (Baby Pink), Tour (Petal Pink), Solo (Magenta) and Encore (Red Coral). I especially love sets like this because you can break these up and use them for stocking stuffers or gifts for co-workers and maybe even keep a couple for yourself. :)

4. Rockin' Red Hot Lip Gloss Collection. Retails for $27 and is a $90 value. These contain all the great ingredients as the mini glosses above, but this set contains 6 full size products. Colors include Rock n' Roll (Pink Nude), You Rock (Plum), Rock On (Rose), Rock Star (exclusive Violete shade), Easy Rock (Fuschia), Rock It (Coral).

Which set would you be picking up? I'm thinking the Rockin' Red Hot Lip & Eye Palette is hard to beat at only $25! The website does state there are three palettes, but I saw this in store and it was only two palettes which is still a good deal. I don't know why there is that discrepancy. You can use Kohl's cash or the $10 off coupons to score great deals on high end makeup at Kohl's!

Healthy DIY Flavored Water

The best water bottle ever!

I know you've heard over and over how important it is to get at least 8 glasses of water per day. What I've heard more recently is to drink half your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 200 lb pounds, you should be drinking 100 ounces of water per day. I actually get an decent amount of water throughout the day and I'm obsessed with organic lemons so I drink tons of lemon water. But sometimes water does get boring and you need something to mix it up a little bit. However, if you've looked at flavored waters or even bottled teas at the store there are a lot of chemical additives, natural flavors, fake sugars and worse! Using a water infuser can be the answer!

I've seen more and more products that are marketed as being healthy too like Mio Fit yet they contain so many additives and chemicals like sucralose, acesulfame potassium, dyes and synthetically made propylene glycol. Who wants that when they're just trying to do something healthy! I still think some water is better than none, but why not do it naturally? Here is a super easy and convenient way how to get your 8 ounces of water in!

I purchased the aqua zinger on thegrommet.com. This retails for $25.99, but I had signed up for free for the grommet and within about a week I got a $10 off coupon in my e-mail. I figured that was too good to pass up! The Grommet has super cool gadgets, beauty products, techie gear and very unique items that are hard to find elsewhere. I had been searing in-stores for an infuser for awhile to no avail. The site also offers free shipping on orders $25 or over, and I was very happy to see I qualified for free shipping even with my $10 off. I think this was totally worth it for $16! Plus if you are buying flavored waters, teas or water enhancers this can save you money since you can stop doing that and stop paying for icky chemicals!!

There are four pieces: top, bottle, grinder blades, bottom. It comes with instructions which weren't too difficult, but also took me a couple reads to fully get. You basically put your ingredients in the bottom and then put in the grinder. With the top on the bottle, you screw the grinder and bottle onto the bottle piece, grinding the ingredients as your turn. You then leave this sit for 15-30 minutes while the water is infused with flavors.
The Aqua Zinger comes with easy to read recipes and ingredient ideas. I decided for my first time to try some organic blackberries. organic blueberries, organic lemon and spearmint!
Tip: Use organic berries & leaves so pesticide residue doesn't go directly into your water. Check out the frozen foods section for affordable berries picked at their peak ripeness!
The drawbacks to this is that the bottle is heavy even without anything in the bottom, making it less convenient on the go and a little hard to drink from. At home, I transfer this to a regular glass and for to go, I'd suggest pouring it into another water bottle. Out of one bottom full of fruit, lemons and mint I got two full bottles full of flavored water, essentially 4 servings. If you want you could blend the ingredients after into a smoothie so nothing goes to waste.  Also, if you fill the bottom too full, it will spill over so I suggest doing the grinding over a sink, especially when dealing with berries.
The finished result after 30 minutes of infusion! It looks like a gorgeous fruit punch!

What do you think about this infuser? Have you seen these in stores? Is this something you would use frequently? Comment and let me know, I'd love to hear from you!

Fragrance Series Part I: On the Lighter Side

I think women are always on the search for that perfect signature perfume. We walk past all the bottles in the perfume section of the department store and can't help but be swept up by their gorgeous designs and come hither fragrance. Today I'm bringing you Part I in a two part series of some fragrance reviews, with variety ranging from L'Occitane usa to Adidas. This post will focus on the lighter, floral and fruity scents and part two which will be up within a week, will focus on more serious, mature and deeper scents. I kind of think of these as more fall scents and part two as more scents for the holidays and winter.

To me, the Clary Sage Tea Collection by Thymes is a must have scent. I have sensitivity to scents so I'm always on the search for products that are light, natural and feminine. Their packaging definitely reflects this and makes it a cute addition to any home. In researching this company (which is based in my old stomping grounds, Minneapolis, MN,) I learned they have envisioned and created exactly what I'm looking for in a fragrance:
"What makes a Thymes fragrance? It’s a scent that’s fresh and clean, instantly familiar yet remarkably engaging."
I received the bubble bath for review and I love coming home to this and relaxing in a nice hot tub. The scent is not overwhelming, but it is just as Thymes states above: fresh & clean. Aromas include Assam black tea, fresh rosemary sprigs, soothing lavender and purple clary sage petals which are combined with notes of sandalwood and amber to create a complex fragrance. This is available in so many forms with prices ranging from $13-27, to ensure you'll find the exact perfect product for yourself or as a gift for another. For more information see www.thymes.com

I've tried GUESS Girl before, so I was excited as excited can be to test out GUESS Girl Belle. I knew I already loved GUESS Girl for the simple, sweet and flirty scent, so I was curious if I would love Girl Belle as well and I do! I can't really decide which I love more actually! Girl Belle is as fresh and feminine as GUESS Girl, but Belle brings some vibrant fruity notes that linger with sexy floral tones and is made with Pink Champagne, Peony and Sandalwood. I think I reach for Girl more often when I'm in a flirty fun mood and Girl Belle when I'm in more of a sexy mood. Rawr :) Available worldwide September 2013 for $52 at GUESS retail stories, perfumery chains, department stores and www.guess.com

Each year, Halloween brings a sense of fear, mystery, and fun to homes around the world. Trick or treating, carving a jack-o’-lantern, and throwing spooky parties are all part of annual American traditions When guests come over, introduce an element of mystery to their sense of smell with Thymes Fig Leaf & Cassis. This sensually exotic fragrance features verdant fig leaf, sweet cassis, mandarin oil, and juniper berry, but also includes purifying cypress essence to add a hint of spice for an element of mystery. Thymes Fig Leaf & Cassis comes in both a Cologne ($60) and Home Fragrance Mist ($17), leaving guests wondering what has been used to make your home smell so enticing.
About: "Capture the aromatic essence with L’Occitane’s Lavender Collection, and let the fresh scent transport you to the hills of the south of France . Lavender Eau de Cologne ($52): Brightened by the radiant freshness of citrus fruits, this Cologne has a light, breezy scent, underlined by a woody, musky base with a captivating trail. Lavender Foaming Bath ($34): This rich formula offers all the relaxing benefits of Haute-Provence Lavender. It generously foams in the bath, leaving skin supple, clean and fragrant."
"Lavender Scented Candle ($25): The Lavender scented candle fills your home with a relaxing scent, creating a warm and inviting ambiance."

I normally love everything L'Occitane usa and I especially love lavender scents, but the eau de cologne didn't quite do it for me. I wasn't that fond of the round bottle for perfume, it just didn't make it look special enough in my eyes. I think that may possibly be because I think of this more as a uni-sex scent and they may have wanted to appeal to more people. After I form my opinion on a product, I like to then look up reviews to see what other's are saying about it. For this product, I found that people either absolutely loved it or hated it. I was disappointed with the lavender scent which smelled more perfumey to me than like natural lavender. Don't give up if this isn't for you because out of the probably twenty or more L'Occitane products I've tried, only two weren't for me and they were both a little heavy handed in the fragrance department.

For those looking for some seriously fruity, light and sporty scent, Adidas has you covered with their new body sprays! These are available in three signature scents, Pure Lightness, Fruity Rhythm and Natural Vitality and are only $3.47 each and are available at Walmart!

Which scent would you must be likely to purchase or be drawn to the most? Comment and let me know, I'd love to hear from you! Stay tuned for part two where I explore some perfumes with more of a serious side!

For a natural, multidimensional eye look that lasts, Pür’s vitamin-rich shadow sticks will put all eyes on you! Pür Minerals doesn't test its products on animals.

Eye Shadow Sticks: Unveiled (gold shimmer), Staged (toasted raisin), Exposed (vanilla cream)

My thoughts:
  • This is an amazing value for the price. You get the three lip colors which can double as cheek colors plus three eyeshadow colors for only $28, which is a $90 value.
  • With the holidays coming up, this is the perfect gift for the makeup lover in your life.
  • I found each product to be easy to apply and creamy.
  • The only thing I didn't really like about the product was the scent. These aren't scented products but there is a smell to them that is kind of like a crayon or marker. Some cosmetics just have a smell like this and I am sensitive to scents.
  • I think this provides a nice basic color selection which means it will be wearable for a lot more women, making this a really practical set.

How to Make your Home More Inviting: My Top Three Tips

There is nothing like walking into a home and smelling a scent like cinnamon or lemons. It's so uplifting and inviting. You can easily get this at home with my natural remedies. I've got some homemade DIY suggestions for you that are all easy and affordable and are great tips for entertaining. Follow my top three tips below on how to make your home more inviting for your family and entertaining with my top three natural tips.

1. Fragrance Oil
You can find fragrance oils in many places like your grocery store, pharmacy and co-op. A few of my favorites are rose oil, lemon oil and lavender oil. You can put some oil on a toothpick and place over the flame of a candle to bring out the scent. You can also just mix this with water as a spray or add a few drops to a bath or make your own perfume. This is also a great base for a diy gift, especially with upcoming holidays. I just purchased a lemon oil for around $6 and just a couple drops go a long way.

2. Cinnamon
Simply sprinkle cinnamon in a bowl with water and microwave for a minute or so until it is steaming. Take the dish out and place on the stove. Your home will smell like freshly baked cookies with cinnamon and this scent lasts for hours, can be done in just minutes and is cheap! You can buy a whole bottle of cinnamon for around $2. You can also do this with cinnamon sticks. Throughout the day then I just reheat the cinnamon water to refresh the scent. This is a great tip for entertaining as you can pop this in right before guest arrive.
Tip: Try mixing a few drops of the lemon oil with the cinnamon!
3. Lemon Peels
I use lemons constantly to cook and I always breathe in the invigorating scent of the lemon. I also don't want to waste the peel and sometimes zest it for cooking or use it for cleaning. After I've used a lemon peel or cut off the end, I use this to wipe off the counter. This has great cleaning properties. After I do that, I then put the peel in the garbage disposal to disinfect. The scent of lemons will fill your kitchen, making you want to be there more and making you feel great in return!

Follow any of these three tips and your house will immediately be transformed into a welcoming home. Do you have any tips of your own? Comment and let me know.

{Trending} Purple Lips

I've been really obsessed lately with wearing bright colors on my lips lately. Now that it's fall, I'm putting away my neutrals and pretty pink lips and going for some color! I'm going to bring you the best lipsticks for fall in installations including my favorite bright red lips and bright plum lips as well as this post which is my favorite purple colored lips for fall.

This post is really inspired by Sensai Rouge Vibrant Cream Color in Fijibakama which I recently received for review. This was one of the first truly wearable true purple colors that I've found. I've got some other favorites and they're swatched below for you, but this color to me is just so spot on with everything I'd ever want in a wearable purple lipstick.

Organix Review: Australian Teatree Shampoo & Conditioner

Organix offers beauty pure and simple and has quickly become one of my top drugstore brands of haircare products. I often reach for Organix over much higher priced haircare items. The scents and ingredients (like moroccan argan oil, neem oil, tea tree oil) are fabulous. The Australian teatree has a therapeutic scent to it and has actually really helped me while having a migraine. I have long brown hair and my hair is colored. I was given an Organix shampoo and an Organix conditioner to test out, so keep on reading for my thoughts and results.

About:
Australian Teatree has soothing complex of exfoliating willow bark which gently removes build up allowing refreshing tea tree and neem oil to calm dry, itchy scalp while argan oil hydrates, bringing your scalp back to balance for hair that is fresh, soft and clean. Safe For Color-Treated Hair • Safe For All Hair Types
Scalp Therapy Australian Teatree Shampoo
-Unique blend of Sulfate free Surfactants lather through hair to clean and exfoliate roots
-Soothing complex of effective ingredients provides total confidence that your scalp and hair is balanced, beautiful and clean
Scalp Therapy Australian Teatree Conditioner
-Calm sand hydrates hair and scalp with an exotic and balancing conditioning formula
-Exclusive ingredients combine to soothe the scalp while providing hair with full body and shine
My thoughts:
  • This product contains all the oils I'm just nuts about: tea tree, neem, argan and also willow bark!
    • Neem is an oil I think you're going to be hearing about more and more. You can use it for skin irritations or in toothpaste. I'll be telling you more about neem later!
  • You will see many of these ingredients in higher priced haircare items while this retails at $7.99 and can be purchased at Walmart or Walgreens
  • I normally am a sucker for fruity scented items, but this product is much more serious and has what I would call a therapeutic scent. I'm also very into aromatherapy and these products work just like that for me. When I have a migraine, I take a hot shower and I always reach for these
  • This line is probably my favorite of all the Organix products I've tried before, I'll link my prior reviews below
  • At $8 you really can't go wrong for super soft shiny gorgeous hair in a cute as can be bottle with an amazing aromatic scent and these are safe for color treated hair and all hair types!

The Lash Project: Gluten Free Mascara

I think we've all probably heard that cosmetics and skincare items should be thrown away after a certain point, especially products that end up around our eyes. It's so important to just toss those items after their expiration date. If you're wondering how long mascara is good for, it shouldn't be kept longer than 6-9 months. I personally have way too many mascaras and I'm working on whittling them down to only have a couple of the best mascaras on hand! I also try to use mascaras that are healthier for my eyes and lashes as mascaras can contain a lot of chemicals and I try to stay away from waterproof versions.

Red Apple Lipstick has announced the release date of their ground-breaking gluten free mascara that's actually designed to help lashes grow and follicles to become healthy and strong! Watch the video below to find out more!

There is nothing on the market today that does what The Lash Project does - nothing! Red Apple Lipstick put years worth of research into what causes common mascara problems like itchy or watery eyes, smudging, clumping and burning and have formulated a mascara that actually works and is free of the above problems!

They developed a mascara full of healthy ingredients, intended to make your lashes full of life again!

How to Cook with Spices: 3 Easy Food Recipes

How can you make food more exciting without breaking the bank and without spending tons of time that you don't have? You don't have to spend hours watching the food network if you don't want! It's really much simpler than you'd think and my answer is: Spices! Cooking with spices can seem daunting at first because there are so many out there. I try to keep things simple by always having the essentials below in stock. I use the same spices over and over in my food, but I've strategically picked spices with health benefits that are packed with a ton of flavor and that work well in most recipes to give your food that extra kick. Keep reading below for three dinner recipes to get you started!

Essentials:
Black Pepper, Pink Himalayan Salt, Turmeric, Cayenne, Curry, Chili Powder, Ginger, Garlic
&
Honey, Parsley, Cilantro
Skinny & Co Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil

What you will need:
Lean Organic Ground Beef
Organic Eggs
Parsley
Cilantro
Spices (black pepper, salt, red chili powder)
Grated parmesean and/or romano
Fresh mozzarella
Raw cashews
Hemp oil (optional)
Grill up a burger. I prefer to make them in a skillet on the stove on low to medium heat. I cook them with black pepper and an all purpose seasoning. When the beef is done to your liking, top with a fried egg. I make these by placing a tiny bit of butter in a small bowl along with an egg, place a plate over, and microwave for 50-60 seconds. I then topped the egg with fresh mozzarella cheese until it was slightly melted. I added the spices above to taste and sprinkled grated cheese over.

As I side I made polenta. I bought the creamy spinach and carrot polenta from Trader Joes. But I added crushed raw cashews which I blended in a blender as well as a tiny bit of hemp seed oil. You can use whatever oil you like, or skip it. I added grated Parmesan and Romano cheese over.
Tip: Check out the bulk food sections in your grocery or co-op. This is the section with dry goods that you can scoop out our put into a bag and you pay by weight. There is a good chance there is a spice section. I take just what I need for about a month or so. This is also a great way to experiment without breaking the bank. Buying from the bulk sections, but buying smaller quantities can save you money and give you some new options to experiment with while getting fresher spices.

What you will need:
1 can light coconut milk
1/4 cup cashews
water
2-3 cloves garlic
1 inch piece of ginger
Spices: cinnamon, cayenne pepper, chili powder, turmeric
Lemon (4 slices)
Lime (2 slices)
1/4 cup walnuts
6 yellow gold potatoes
1 head cauliflower
2 tbps extra virgin olive oil
4-6 pieces uncured nitrate free bacon (cook and then crumble bacon over)

Blend cashews and water to make cashew milk. Add coconut milk and cashew milk together in a big pot along with 1/2 cup of water or chicken broth. Add in potato pieces which I cut into pieces before putting in the soup. I then added then cauliflower and kept on simmer. Add in spices to your liking and taste. Start out with 1/2 teaspoon and taste test as you go. Add in olive oil closer to the end. Lastly I cooked 4-6 pieces of uncured nitrate free bacon and added some of the bacon and bacon grease (couple tablespoons) into the recipe and cooked for about 20 minutes. The whole cook time is about 1 hour. You can eat as is if you like chunkier soups (or add almond milk to think out) or you can blend once it's cooled. Save a couple pieces of bacon to crumble over. Add some garnish and eat!

What you will need:
Pear
Nitrate free turkey
Whole grain bread
Coconut oil
Pesto
Black Pepper
Cheese

Butter the bread with your Coconut Oil.  Read more below for information on coconut oil and which brand I recommend and why. After that, I applied 1 pear slice, then turkey slices mixed with pears. I topped with some cheese and baked in the oven for 5-7 minutes at 350-375 degrees (ovens vary). Once done, I sprinkled black pepper for taste and added some pesto paste. All these flavors blend together so wonderfully. This is such a quick and yet nutritious snack.

I use Skinny & Company because it is unique and of the best quailty. First of all, the color is snow white and when heated up it becomes a crystal clear liquid. The smell and taste is amazing. There is a more noticeable taste because it is 100% raw. In clean eating, I always strive to find the food in its rawest form (when safe) and eat as close to the source as possible. It makes a world of difference. Do a smell test when possible. If there is very little scent or taste or taste/smell like toasted coconuts it has probably been processed or heat up in some way.

Why Coconut Oil?
I use coconut oil because it has numerous uses from a high heat cooking oil, to a hair conditioner, makeup remover and skin conditioner. I've also started practicing oil pulling where you swish oil in your mouth for 10-20 minutes to remove crap from your teeth, whiten teeth and improve gum health. Unrefined coconut oil, sesame or sunflower oil are good oils to try oil pulling with. Coconut oil also has a lot of nutritional benefits. Although it is higher in fat, this is good fat. Obviously with anything, moderation is key.

Left to Right: Unrefined v. Refined (cold pressed, organic)
"Most coconut oils either have very little scent/taste or smell like toasted coconuts, which can tell you one of two things: if they don't have smell, they are likely refined (ultra-heated/processed) and have lost much of their nutritional benefits. If the oil smells "toasted" it means that the oil has likely been moderately heated, which renders the medium-chain-fatty-acids (MCFAs) less effective...

MCFAs are the reason coconut oil is considered a good fat, and can help in weight loss by boosting the metabolism. Most companies will heat the coconut to extract more meat, then "cold press" in the final process, which is actually not "cold pressed". Heating and low quality coconuts are the reasons why most coconut oil solidifies to look like cellulite, and melts a murky white/grey/yellow color.

Our oil, when melted, is as clear as water, and solidifies pure white and uniform, not chunky. The smell is the closest representation of cracking open a coconut in the jungle and smelling inside. The standard "pina colada" scent we (as a society) attribute to coconuts is, in fact, not how a raw coconut smells!" -Chris, Skinny & Co

For cooking, I use coconut oil over olive oil when I'm cooking to a higher heat. I use it when I need an oil that is spreadable, I use it to make popcorn on the stove and have that extra noticeable fresh flavor to it. If you can't afford Skinny & Co ($24.99), at least look for an organic oil that is whiter in appearance and has gone through the least amount of processing.

Comment and let me know which recipe above you'd most like to try! Also, don't forget to follow me on Twitter and we can do some tweeting!

Wantable October Makeup Box {Review}

Wantable October 2013 Review

I'm sure you've heard of the numerous subscription boxes that are out there and chances are you've even subscribed to them. But which beauty subscription box is worth it and which one stands out? I've subscribed to many boxes including Birchbox ($10), Ipsy ($10) and Rocksbox (jewelry), Borrowed Closet (clothing), and more! Today I'm bringing to you my review of the October Makeup Box from Wantable. They also have an Intimates Box, Accessories Box and a Limited Edition Halloween Box. Product was provided for review, all opinions are honest. Contains referral link.

The details:
  • $36 per month or $40 to buy one box
  • Customization quiz that is the best I've ever taken. You place products into the categories ofr Love, Like and Dislike. You're most likely to receive you Love and you will NEVER receive products you dislike. I absolutely love this because I won't end up with something I won't use which is a major draw back of the other boxes.
  • The survey takes 5-10 minutes and the questions and customization is so easy to follow and it just makes sense.
  • Receive 4-5 full size high end samples based on your customization, including color preference questions!
  • You can skip a month, you are under no obligation to purchase each month
  • Free returns and refunds if you're dissatisfied, no questions asked
The packing slip is also one of the best I've seen. It includes your preferences (upper right corner) and you can see my Love category was blush, highlighter, lip color, lash product and eyeshadow, my Like category was nail polish, bronzer and tools and my Dislike was Brows and Eyeliner. I also customized my quiz to let Wantable know exactly what color lipsticks I like and what color eyeshadows I like, etc. Besides probably not picking the exact Lisa Watier color I received since I don't wear blue that often (who can complain though since its gorgeous) it was pretty spot on. The product descriptions even include beauty tips! It also lists the retail value of the products which customers are always wanting to know and usually have to look it up.
The retail value of my $36 box was $82! That is a 43% savings!

Besame 1955 Lipstick Exotic Pink: A modern classic. One coat of this high-pigment lip color provides full coverage for a weightless, long-lasting finish. The featherproof, semi-matte formula is enriched with vitamins A, E and C, aloe and green tea for comfortable all-day wear. Packaging is reminiscent of original 1940s gold plated lipstick bullets with a velvet pouch for storage. Available in 11 unique colors, the reproductions are the exact shades used by starts from Hollywood's Golden Age.

Jordan Liberty & Liberty Republic Lashes ($8): Exaggerated and feathered brown flares make this lash perfect for only the most dramatic! the lighter color of hair helps to intensify colored mascaras and also makes this pair a one-of-a-kind. 100% sterilized natural human hair, invisible band, knotted and flared.
Cailyn Cosmetics Red Tint ($13) is a waterproof, indelibly sheer tint. The color is a beautiful red which can be worn alone or topped with gloss to tone down the color.

Michael Marcus polish in Blood Red ($15): Housed in a sleek, geometrically shaped glass bottle, this polish is free of Toulene, Formaldehyde and DBP. The polish is chip resistant and offers long lasting staying power.
Lise Watier: An exceptionally light creamy mousse texture, combined with the antioxidant, anti-aging properties of our exclusive Labrador Tea extract. Easily applied with the fingertips, its long-lasting formula gives the eyelids an iridescent look. The box also comes with a small sample of two other shades.

My final thoughts:

  • Yes this costs $36 (or $40 for a one time box) and that makes it one of the most expensive subscription boxes around and therefore this will not be for everyone. You can skip a month and so you don't have to pay each month like the other boxes.
  • This is for the woman that absolutely loves high-end makeup and is trying to build her collection or just loves to be pampered and try new things.
  • This is a perfect gift to give to a woman who loves makeup. The tricky part may be taking the quiz. If a man is buying this for his woman, he should ask her best girlfriend to take the quiz for him. Most women would be so happy to receive this!
  • The products I received are from brands that are high-end and well known. I've been dying to try these as well. Everything was so glamorous and it really felt like it was individualized to me.
  • My savings over retail was 43%. When have you ever seen a bunch of high-end makeup collections on sale for that price? This is a fantastic deal for the high-end makeup lover who can see the $36 price as an investment in her collection.
  • If you don't like it, return shipping is free and you can get your money back, no questions asked, so there is no risk to you to give this a try. If you're scared to sign up for the monthly service, pay $4 extra and try this out just one time!
Bottom line: I love, love, love my box and I definitely recommend it! Plus this company is from my hometown, so I had to give them some extra love! :)
