Turkey Pita Roll Up:
What you will need:
Pear
Pesto
Whole Wheat Pita Pockets
Nitrate free turkey (I use Hormel Naturals brand)
Fresh made mozzarella cheese
Add 2 turkey slices rolled up into the pita pocket, add in 1 slice of cheese and 1 pear slice at the bottom and 1 pear slice at the top with fresh mozzarella in the middle. Add some pesto paste inside the pocket after it has been baked or other seasoning as desired. I use 1 tablespoon or less of pesto paste.
Cook on 350 for 10 minutes
Lime Kale Smoothie
What you will need:
Lime
Kale
Parsley
Cilantro
Mint
Orange Juice or other juice
1 Apple
Cinnamon
Add in juice of 1/2 of a lime along with 1 cup of kale. Add in 5-6 mint leaves and a bunch of cilantro and parsley. Cut up one apple to put in blender and sprinkle cinnamon. I add in juice to give this a thinner consistency because I don't have a juicer at the moment. Blend until smooth and at a desired consistency. To keep it simple, I make this the night before and keep it in the blender in the fridge so its ready to go in the mornings! Enjoy!
