Clean Eating in 10 minutes!


Here are two clean eating recipes that can both be done in under 10 minutes. They are both satisifying and pair well together as well. Hope you enjoy! If you end up making these, comment and let me know your thoughts or leave me a comment with your favorite clean eating recipe!

Turkey Pita Roll Up:

What you will need:
Pear
Pesto
Whole Wheat Pita Pockets
Nitrate free turkey (I use Hormel Naturals brand)
Fresh made mozzarella cheese

Add 2 turkey slices rolled up into the pita pocket, add in 1 slice of cheese and 1 pear slice at the bottom and 1 pear slice at the top with fresh mozzarella in the middle. Add some pesto paste inside the pocket after it has been baked or other seasoning as desired. I use 1 tablespoon or less of pesto paste.

Cook on 350 for 10 minutes

Lime Kale Smoothie

What you will need:
Lime 
Kale 
Parsley
Cilantro
Mint
Orange Juice or other juice 
1 Apple
Cinnamon 

Add in juice of 1/2 of a lime along with 1 cup of kale. Add in 5-6 mint leaves and a bunch of cilantro and parsley. Cut up one apple to put in blender and sprinkle cinnamon. I add in juice to give this a thinner consistency because I don't have a juicer at the moment. Blend until smooth and at a desired consistency. To keep it simple, I make this the night before and keep it in the blender in the fridge so its ready to go in the mornings! Enjoy!
