My Favorite Aromatherapy & Mineral Infused Products

Today I'm bringing you some of my favorite aromatherapy products. These basically center around the philosophy that some things can be treated through scents and fragrance. If you've got ailments like I do such as neck and back pain, migraines or headaches, trouble sleeping or stress, you'll want to keep reading! I really prefer not to use medications or something with chemicals in it if I can help it.

LAVANILA Forever Fragrance Oil
  • Vanilla Coconut – A rich, tropical blend of Young Coconut, exotic Tahitian Tiare Flower and pure Madagascar Vanilla Bean.
  • Pure Vanilla – A sensual blend of warm Tonka bean, rich Heliotrope and pure Madagascar vanilla Bean.
  • Vanilla Grapefruit – A sparkling burst of Pink Grapefruit, fresh Cedarwood and pure Madagascar Vanilla Bean.
These are 100% natural, alcohol free, no harsh chemicals, pure essential oils, long lasting up to 8 hours. I have the pure vanilla scent. I love the fragrance of vanilla and this adorable roll on makes it super easy to use. I like applying this behind my ears and on my wrists before night. It really helps to calm and sooth and smells so wonderful. Retails $26 and is available at Sephora and I highly recommend getting one of these for yourself if you are a fan of aromatherapy and/or a vanilla lover. These really smell like pure true vanilla and are a key member of my aromatherapy arsenal.

L'Occitane Lavender Collection: Body and Massage Gel

Items in this line include: Lavender Foaming Bath, Lavender Hand Cream, Lavender Body and Massage Gel, Body Wash , Body Lotion, Perfume Sachet, Hand Purifying Gel, Cleansing Hand Wash , Soap and Scented Candle.

Lavender is my all time favorite scent. I was lucky enough to be sent the Lavender Body and Massage Gel for review. This is mild and gentle and can be used every day to nourish the skin or relieve tension. This is a white creamy gel texture and comes in a huge circular tub as seen above. I peeled just a small portion of the foil covering and I just dip my finger in to preserve the product. I've been using this nearly daily. I apply this mainly for headaches, sore muscles and tension. I apply this to my temples, wrists, center of my palm, lower back, base of back hairline/neck and shoulders.

This gives you a nice cooling soothing tingle feeling when applied and smells really great. This helps me with headaches and other ailments that may leave me awake all night. It is a little sticky and I'm not sure how it would work as a massage oil, I apply before bed so I can just wash off in the morning.

21 Drops Aromatherapy Roller in Strength
Photo property of Intrubeauty. No reproduction or use without permission.
This is a more subtle oil roll-on than the Lavanila one. It smells a little more medicinal than perfume/fragrancey. Its kind of hard to describe. I've also tried this in Stress and it was pure minty heaven. I absolutely love these little rollers. The name "21 Drops" comes from the fact that they have 21 different blends of these natural oils for common ailments or an option to create your own. For more information, see my prior full review here.

Indie Lee Lavender Oil
The #1 natural remedy that has worked for me for stress and migraines is using a product made with lavender oil. My fave is Indie Lee's Lavender oil. There are many uses for this, but for a headache, I apply some drops of this to my temples, the back of my neck, and on or around my nose. This really is a calming soothing oil. You can also draw yourself a bath (another remedy) and using the dropper add 1-2 droppers full to the bath water. I've raved about this product over and over again. I've received this for review and I have purchased myself.
100% Natural: Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (apricot) Oil, Essential Oils of Lavandula Angustifolia (lavender) and Anthemis Nobilis (chamomile).

Moon Valley Organics Body Heal
My next favorite product I discovered at the market in Seattle. The woman selling this indicated to me this was not just for sore muscles (which it works great on), but it also works great for headaches. I apply this to my temples and onto the nape of my neck. Especially if you suffer from sinus issues, the area where your skull meets your neck is essential for relieving sinus pain and pressure that is built up. You may actually have a build up of waste in that area that needs to be flushed out.

*Organic Calendula (Calendula officinalis) *Organic Comfrey (Symphytum officinalis) *Lavender oil

Josh Rosebrook Moisturizing Cleanser
  • African Black Soap thoroughly purifies and restores balance. It provides gentle cleansing and a huge dose of antioxidants.
  •  Meadowfoam protects and moisturizes the skin by adding a moisture barrier and preventing moisture loss.
  • Sea Minerals are tiny molecules, small enough to penetrate deeply into the skin cells to deliver a rich concentration of phytonutrients that moisturize and nourish the skin.Potent antioxidants and Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 fatty acids in Sea Buckthorn deliver moisture and protection deep into the layers of the skin.
  • Antioxidants Hawthorne Berry, Grape Seed, green tea neutralize free radicals to preserve the skins integrity.
  • Anti Inflammatories Calendula, Slippery Elm, St Johns Wort calm and heal problem skin
  • NO animal testing, parabens, sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic ingredients, preservatives, colors, fillers, fragrances or GMOs.
When this brand says all natural, it means it. The list of ingredients are one of the most impressive I've seen and I work with a lot of natural and/or organic companies. Their products are produced in small batches, utilizing food-grade ingredients, handling and processes. They're so safe you could actually eat them, but you probably want to leave them for your skin and hair! This doesn't have a lot of lather which is typical of sulfate free products, but it has a nice creamy look and feel to it and smells really calming and gets my skin super clean and looking great!

So there you have it, here are just some of my favorite natural aromatheraphy products which will make your mind and body feel at ease without the use of any chemicals or over the counter medications. Obviously always consult your doctor.

What is your favorite scent to calm your headache, sore muscles, stress, etc?
