Bath & Body Works Fragrance Launch: Forever Red
On November 5th, Bath & Body Works is Launching Forever Red, which they describe as their "most luxurious fragrance ever." In the meantime, you can head to stores to try this fragrance on or if you order online, you can add the mini version of this (as pictured below) for $5 onto your order. They also have this mini perfume for sale for $5 at select Bath & Body Works stores.
Top Notes: Fiery Pomegranate, Rare French Peach, Luminous Apple
Mid Notes: Red Peony, Night Marigold, Red Osmanthus
Dry Notes: Rich Vanilla Rum, Velvety Marshmallow, Oak Wood
Jessica says: Overall, I'm not much of a perfume gal because of my sensitive sniffer and I prefer to stick with brands like Harvey Prince that don't use any chemicals. So, I was surprised that this scent really didn't irritate me that much. It is a soft feminine scent and no wonder why I love it because it has Pomegranate and Vanilla notes in it which I love! I agree with the company's description of this and it definitely feels and smells more like a luxury line perfume.
Justina says: This perfume is the perfect size for someone like me who loves to rotate fragrances. It comes in a small bottle which is perfect for tossing in your purse. I do like the scent and I feel like it's more unique than most of Bath & Body Works' scents; most of their fragrances smell similar and overly floral/fruity in my opinion. I pick up the pomegranate and apple notes the most. It is a great scent for fall because it seems a little muskier and deeper than most of summer's vibrant light scents. My only gripe about this fragrance is one that I have with most of Bath & Body Works' perfumes- I spray it on and the scent seems to disappear within an hour or two. This store really believes in layering your fragrances though to intensify them, through the use of shower gel, body lotion, perfume, etc (probably why they always do those deals where you can buy 2 get 1 free) which would certainly amp up the potency. I dislike having to spray a scent repeatedly during the day just to get lasting staying power but if you can tolerate that, this is a great fragrance. I think it's high end in terms of what Bath & Body Works sells, but I can still tell it's not as high luxury as my truly high end fragrances.
Overall, a great value if you want to try this at $5 for a perfume mini. Don't you wish every fragrance came in a mini at that price point? I'd be in trouble for sure!
