Summer Essentials

Summer Essentials

Orange tote
$20 -

An orange tote is a must have for this summer. Pack some of the below products below along with a towel and head off to the beach! Check out Old Navy for some inexpensive uber cute totes!

Estée Lauder Invisible Fluid Foundation
$35 -

Macy's Estee Lauder has a gift with purchase right now for foundation, so this is the perfect time to pick this up. This new foundation is super light, so light you can barely feel it on your face. This provides light coverage and is perfect for the summer months! See my full review here.

Eos lip treatment
$3.14 -

Don't forget about your lips during the summer. You want to make sure they're protected as well. Try to use a product with some SPF in it too. One of my fave lip balms is the Eos brand. Bonus: they're super cute! Try Eos Lemon Drop with SPF 15 for summer!

Laura Geller Tahitian Baked Body Frosting
$45 -

You know you want that natural healthy looking tan for the summer, but you don't necessarily want to subject your skin to the harmful rays of the sun. This amazing Laura Geller product can be applied dry for a more subtle look or wet for a deeper tan. I apply this lightly on my face and more concentrated on my chest and arms and lightly over my legs. This gives such a nice color and a healthy natural look. It does have some shimmer to it as well.

Tocca SPF 30+ towelltte
$28 -

These towelettes are packed with sunscreen and easily portable. These are a great addition to any beach bag. One towelette is enough to cover my entire face, shoulders and arms. See my full review here.

Essie nailpolish
$8 -

One of the latest trends for this time of year is nude and neutral polishes. Check out Essie's line for some great choices. They have a lot of great picks in the neutral color scheme.

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, $10

This is one of the main ingredients I use for hair masks and I apply the extra onto my skin. Coconut oil is great for your hair and your skin and you can actually use it for cooking too. For a hair mask, take some of the solid white product and rub it between your hands. It will basically melt into an oil form. I usually mix this with tea tree oil, lavender, jojoba, maracuja, olive, and grape seed oils. Don't be afraid to play. I like doing this mask on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. After the oils are applied, I leave on for an hour to hour and a half. You can apply some heat with your blow dryer as well. Then just shampoo, condition, and style as normal. This will leave your hair healthy, soft, and silky for the summer.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Creme
$5.99 -

I'm loving this product for smoothing dry split ends and friziness. Just a small amount of this product makes your hair so smooth and feeling very silky. A definite summer must have! This works on dry hair, curly or straight styles.

Frizz Defy Hair Spray | Products | Nexxus

This is my new go to hairspray. It sprays in a fine mist that smells amazing as it has coconut oil in it. This smooths away any frizziness I may have and leaves your hair feeling soft, not crunchy. I love the smell of this product especially for the summer. This is a great touch up product as well and I often use this throughout the day.

And lastly, don't forget the water in a re-usable earthy friendly water jug. This will keep you hydrated and is one of the best things you can do for your skin!

So there you go, those are basically my main products in my summer survival gear arsenal. What products are your summer essentials?

Yours in Beauty,
