I was told that Lush was really generous at giving out samples, but this particular store was pretty stingy. I was able to try one sample of a face wash in a tiny little tester jar. I can't even recall the name off the top of my head, but frankly, I wasn't a fan of the mess it made in the (hotel) sink. If I was at home I would have been super annoyed that it looked like a science experiment went down the drain after using this. It did leave my skin feeling pretty good, but for me, it's not worth trashing my bathroom over a good cleanser.
One product that was a winner for me was Grease Lightning. I got a 1.5 oz bottle for $12.95, which was the perfect size at the perfect price.
What I loved about this product is that it dried my pimples out without drying my face out. I used this over my acne at night, and once more in the morning, and my most pesky spots were dried up within about 24 hours. Success! After touching my face numerous times throughout the day, I felt the spots get smaller and smaller until POOF! they disappeared. This product has earned its way into my rotation. Although I have only used it a few times so far, I have high hopes for my skin with its continued use. So far, it gets my seal of approval!
I will be sure to keep you all posted how well it works in the weeks to come.
Yours in Beauty,
Justina
Awww, that is a shame on the samples! My local Lush is always throwing samples at me. Which cleanser did you try? I like Angels on Bare Skin, but it is definitely messy.
ReplyDeleteIt's called Herbalism. It's a decent cleanser, but I guess I'm more of a cleanser-actually-goes-down-the-drain type girl!
