Face of the Day

Here is my Face of the Day

Instructions:
1. Apply primer. I used Smashbox Photo Finish Moisturizing Primer
2. Apply Foundation. I applied Tarte Full Coverage Foundation in Light

3. Apply eyeshadow. I applied bareMinerals High Shine in Metorite all over the lid
I then applied Urban Decay's Last Call in the crease and outer V area with a fluffy blending brush. This is a metallic sugar plum color.

4. Apply false lashes. I used the ones that came in April's MyGlam bag. I used Milani black liquid liner on the upper lash line.
5. Line the lower lash line. I used Urban Decay's 24/7 in Crash which is a deep plum with small silver glitter.
6. Apply blush. I used Sephora's Pantone Universe Limited Edition Blush which is a shimmery peach blush
7. Apply lipstick. I used ELLE 07.

I paired this with this beautiful spring green color by ZOYA called Bevin.

Happy Friday. What look are you rockin' today?

Yours in Beauty,

Jessica

  1. How was it putting the Myglam lashes on? I've never used fake lashes before and I really want to try them but I'm a little nervous because there's no English instructions!

  2. They weren't as easy as others. But here is bacially what you do. First I cut off both ends bc they were too long. They should be as long as the horizontal length of your lashes. Apply the glue in a thin layer onto the top strip. Wait 30 seconds and bend the 2 ends together to ensure a shape that will fit your lashes. Apply to the root area of your lashes, not onto the lid. Lightly place and use the other end of a tweezers to hold down in place. After its secure you can add mascara if you want to blend them together. Depending on the weight and style they will take some getting use to, but I love fake lashes!! For newbies I would recommend Eylure Natural Volume lashes.
