Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer Review

I've had the Tarte Maracuja Concealer for awhile now, but I had it in the medium shade which is a little too dark for me. I got it as part of a QVC kit that had limited supplies left. I have used it many times, but would have to mix it with other concealer or blend in very well given the color. But, today I got the concealer in light as part of the 8 piece Miracle of Maracuja set from QVC when it was their Today's Special Value. So finally, I'm able to share my love with you for this amazing concealer!!!

Via Tarte: This concealer is described as being able to brighten and prefect the look of the skin and to go beyond and beyond by delivering rejuvenating and hydrating vitamin C and essential fatty acids derived from pure maracuja oil. Tarte sells pure pressed maracuja oil and it is infused into a lot of their products. It comes from a rare Brazilian fruit; and is collected by women of the Amazon by hand who cold press the seeded pulp of the fruit to extract the concentrated pure oil. It has vitamin C and essential fatty acids or vitamins which are necessary to maintain radiant skin. EFA deficiency can result in the breakdown of essential cells causing skin to appear dry and aged.

This has an extremely thick consistency, unlike anything else I've tried. It may be hard to get out of the bottle. A little goes a LONG way. You barely need a pea sized amount for your under eye areas.

I figured this would be the perfect time to demonstrate this amazing product since I have a pesky pimple I keep picking at which is a horrible habit of mine. I'm always self conscious that people will notice it. But with this concealer, there is no way anyone would notice:

This took about 20 seconds and boom it was pretty much gone! With other concealers or foundations it is less noticeable, but it doesn't disappear as it does with this concealer. Other concealers just basically cover it up but its still clearly there, this one seems to make imperfections disappear! This is a fantastic concealer. The light shade is a near perfect match for my skin tone. With summer coming up, I'm sure I will get more use out of the medium shade and for the spring as I hopefully get a little more color, I can mix these two together!

Other fave concealer recommendations:
  • Maybelline Age Rewind
  • Benefit Cosmetics Erase Paste
Yours in Beauty and Tartness,

  1. Glad you mentioned Erase Paste! I still haven't found my little box of it since moving, although I know I have a full size unopened one somewhere. I frickin love that stuff! -Justina

  2. I want this product. Is this product available through QVC only?

  3. The concealer is available through Tarte's website, Sephora, etc. I think it is $24.
