Lash X by Makeup Mandy PRO/LINE Luxury Liner

Hello my beauties!

Today I have a very special product to introduce to you- a luxury liner to create dramatic eyes while conditioning for natural growth.  From the company:
Watch your natural lashes triple with this beautiful eyeliner in just two weeks!  A complex of key ingredients including Biotin-Tripeptide 1 T stimulate hair growth, perform tissue repair, and reduce hair loss.  This unique eyeliner is formulated with our LAshX peptide blend which works to strengthen and thicken existing lashes while stimulating new growth.  The high pigmented colors are perfect for daily wear and can be used to create either a natural or dramatic look.
This eyeliner comes in several colors, and I was given "Icon" which is a deep, rich black.  You can purchase this for $140 for .25 oz on their website- www.lashxla.com

Ingredients: Water, Propanediol, Methacrylic Acid/Sodium Acrylamidomethyl Propane Sulfonate Copolymer, Silica, Glycerin, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Octapeptide-2, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Sodium DNA, Potassium Glutathione, Isomerized Linoleate, Bis-PEG-15, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, 1,2 Hexandiol, Tropolone, Ammonium, Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sodium Oleate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil (0.001%), Glycerin, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl.
May Contain (+/-): CI77499, CI77491, CI77492, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Tin Oxides.

This eyeliner was invented because so many women forget to apply their eyelash growing serums at night, but no woman ever forgets to apply eyeliner!  I am excited to see whether the 2 week claim of thicker and longer lashes can be lived up to.  For the next 2 weeks, I vow to wear this eyeliner every single day.  Even if I wear no other makeup, I will be religious about wearing the eyeliner!  You can be the judge if this product is worth its $140 price tag!

A few notes about this product:

- If you have a difficulty applying liquid liner, you may have extra difficulty at first with this product.  The wand is extremely long.  It takes some practice.  Keep q-tips nearby for touch ups!

- This product is not, nor does it claim to be water resistant or water proof.  This may not be an issue for you anyways, but be aware.  If you are out walking and it starts drizzling outside, like it often does this time of year, you will need to keep a mirror handy.

-The size of the product is 0.25 oz. for $140.  Sounds expensive, but if you do a simple math problem you'll realize that it's actually not that much money for how much product you're getting.  A popular eyeliner by Lancome- Artliner for eyes- is 0.04 fl. oz for $29.50.  If you were to get 0.25 fl. oz of the Lancome product it would cost $184.38.  That's a far cry from $140!

Day 1
I was wearing the Lash X liner with some eyeshadow, NO mascara.  You can tell, because my eyelashes are fairly light, especially by the root.

More shots of my eyes.  The left and right picture are my eyes with the eyeliner, plus eyeshadow, and NO mascara.

Day 5

Day 10

Day 14

Here are the pictures showing the completion of my 14 day trial!  Two weeks later.  What do you think?  The pictures side by side prove to me that I didn't gain much if anything length from the product.

The picture below where I take an angled picture of my top lashes shows how much thicker they have become!

After all that testing, what do I think?  I got used to the long wand that I originally didn't like, and found the application of the liquid liner to get easier over time.  My lashes are on the longer side naturally, so I wasn't surprised that I didn't see them double or triple in length, and that would have been a little freaky if they did!  However, I thought they did seem a bit thicker than normal when it was all said and done.  I showed my husband the pictures and he says he notices a difference in time of my lashes getting a little thicker and longer, just in some areas.  I'll show you a pic of me wearing the same mascara before and after using LashX.

 Left- before trying LashX
Right- while trying LashX
All in all, I think it's a worthwhile product to try.  You get so much in the bottle like I said above, that it really is a bargain in the long run.  I think it's certainly worth a shot if the end result could be longer, thicker, fuller lashes!

Yours in Beauty,
Justina
