Recent Favorites and Wish List

Hey Everyone!

Thought I would do a mid-month post on recent favorites of mine- not just beauty products, but life in general lately.  Since it's only February 19th, I can't very well call it February favorites, since the month is not over yet!  When I'm done with my favorites, I'll update you on some things on my wish list.  There are so many things I'm lusting after, but after just moving we're low on funds so I have to wait.

My Recent Faves:

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara

This stuff is totally my favorite mascara lately because it does 4 awesome things all at once- volumizes, lengthens, curls, and thickens.  This stuff definitely stands up to DiorShow or any of the other best of the best.  Jessica and I both agree this stuff rocks!  And it comes in the cutest ever case.

Ice Water

Lately, nothing tastes better to me than a little ice water.  It's cool, refreshing, does great things for my body, and is excellent for my skin.  I totally love water!  Beats out pop any day!

Ink Masters

This is a new favorite tv show I have discovered after getting cable.  It's basically a show that is a competition between different tattoo artists.  I love the look of tattoos.  I don't have any and don't plan to get any, but I love admiring them on other people!

Physican's Formula Organic Wear Loose Powder

I got this powder on sale at Rite Aid not too long ago.  I didn't use it for the first couple weeks, but I just now started and I am in love!  The mini kabuki it comes with is basically crap because all the bristles come out with every use, but if you use your own brush the stuff goes on like a dream with great coverage.

Benefit Erase Paste

This stuff is totally amazing.  I love putting it on my under eye area and around my nose and mouth to cancel out any darkness.  I really really love it.  It works great on blemishes too, but is a little thick so you would need to set it with a little powder.  It comes in 3 shades, and I wear the medium.

I Wish:

Benefit Eye Bright

I'm dying to try this little guy.  It promises to brighten the eye area if you put it in the inner and outer corners of your eyes.  I also read you can put it on your water line, which is where I want to use this most!  It has a shade similar to High Beam, the light milky white-pink.  I think this stuff would be just perfect for brightening up my water line and inner corners.  Can't wait to get my hands on one!

Benefit Sun Beam

I need another luminizer like I need a hole in the head, but this one looks so cute online!  I am totally crushing on this but I'll most likely wait and ask for a bottle for my birthday (June 1st) so I can have it in time for a summer tan.  You should totally judge me for wanting another illuminator- let me list the ones currently in my arsenal- Physician's Formula Powder Luminizer, Benefit High Beam, Benefit Moon Beam, Benefit Watt's Up, RMS Luminizer.  Do I really need another?  YES!

Did you notice that most of my favorites right now have to do with having a clear complexion and great, glowy skin?  I have been really into skin care lately, and not as much into colors and looks.  This was mostly due to me being in a UHaul a bunch this week, and just not really caring about color.  But I really love and stand by all these products!

PS. I found ALL my eyeshadow, and am swatching away.  About to do a purple post in a few minutes here.  Super pumped!

Yours in Beauty,
