MAD Skincare Anti Aging Review

This is a review on the Anti Aging Skincare line by MAD Skincare. My mom was given the opportunity to try some of these products. If you want to check them out, I recommend going to their website to learn more, and request some samples! They are very good at sending samples so you can try before you buy. Enjoy!!

Review:

I tried anti-aging line from M.A.D. Skincare for two weeks. During this time I experimented with the entire line - Glycolic Age Diffusing Cleanser, Nourishing Cleansing Lotion, Eye Transformation Serum, Youth Transformation Age Corrective Serum, Youth Transformation Glycolic Mask, Anti Aging Glycolic Toner, Transforming Daily Moisturizer, and Transforming Nourishing Night Cream. I am 50 years old and my skin type is normal to dry.

Of the two face washes in the line- Glycolic Age Diffusing Cleanser and Nourishing Cleansing Lotion – I liked the Glycolic Age Diffusing Cleanser better. I am not a fan of lotion based cleanser and the other one just made my skin feel cleaner. I have been using Peter Thomas Roth and I would say it is similar.

I did not notice much difference in my skin from the use of the Eye Transformation Serum nor the Youth Transformation Age Corrective Serum but have no real complaints about either and it may be that two weeks was not long enough for noticeable effects.

My favorite product in the line is Anti Aging Glycolic Toner. I did notice a definite difference in the size of my pores after using this product and feel it is better than other toners I have used such as Neutrogena or Clinique.

The two moisturizers – Transforming Daily Moisturizer and Transforming Nourishing Night Cream both made my skin feel softer than normal. The label does not state whether the day moisturizer has SPF which I would prefer.

A couple of general comments about the products in this line – they have a somewhat chemical smell but it is very faint. For me, part of the overall experience is a product with a fresh, light scent. The smell was not offensive, just not what I prefer. Some of the smaller bottles do not have a screw off cap and I did have trouble with one of the pumps not working correctly and was thus unable to fix the problem. The ingredient list is on the box only, not the bottle which is a pet peeve of mine. The prices of the lotions and serums seem pretty average at around $55.00 each (I did feel this was high for the eye serum). The cleansers and toners were all about $28.00 which is again pretty average for decent skincare. To me this was a good value for a large bottle of toner that works so well.

Thanks for the opportunity to review the MAD anti-aging line. Overall I feel the products are average or above average in effectiveness and the toner is great.

**Jessica will be seeing her mother next weekend and will be giving her some anti-aging products to review as well from this line. Stay tuned in the next month or so for her mom's review on these products**

  4. Regardless of whether you are in your forties, on the off chance that you have sleek skin, give the skincare implied for develop skin a miss. Stick to skincare for more youthful skin or sleek skin or issue skin.
