Birchbox December 2011 & Birchbox November 2011

December 2011 Birchbox

Very nice christmas card that came with.

This card explains what my box contained along with the full size prices of these products.
The sample size of Benefit Porefessional was $9.66. You can use this as a primer to smooth out your face or just use in the areas you want to minimize your pores. I also like to mix this together with Benefit's face primer "that gal" and apply both. These two are a perfect pair to mix together. That gal is a pretty pink face primer, it leaves my face looking wonderful and it smells great.

$20 off full sized order of $75 or more. Code: bblove

I love the little details they put in like the packaging, ribbons, and the tissue paper this month had a holiday silver sheen to it! Hello cuteness!

This is great that Birchbox is giving back! One of the best features of BB is that you get points for simple product reviews (10 points per review), 10 points per month's box, 50 points for referring a friend, and 1 point for $1 spent on full sized items. After 3 months, I will be very close to having 300 points or $30 towards a full sized product. Although I was happiest with my first birchbox, the second and third have been okay, I will probably stick with it because in just three months I earned enough to pamper myself with a free full sized product!

Benefit's the Porefessional. Another great product by Benefit. They are one of our fave companies.

The perfume has a light youthful scent, apparently it is suppose to make you smell younger whatever that is. I'm allergic to perfumes so I will probably be gifting this. It was also the size of a perfume sample you could get for free at a department store perfume counter. I did like however that it had a spray top instead of one where you have to open the top and dab it on. The Eboost and Show Stopper fashion tape were freebie extras. Also included was L'oreal Mythic Oil for your hair. See the card above for product prices and descriptions.

Jouer made a lipgloss exclusively for Birchbox! How exciting is that? This pink reflect the Birchbox pink that their packages, notes, etc have on them. Super cute! I wish the sample had been a little bit bigger, but it is a very nice color. One layer does not go on that bright, so this is a color that will work for most. You can also layer and build up this color.

Justina's BB should be coming today, so we will post a video and/or pictures of hers as well!

I am very excited for all these new beauty subscriptions. We explain many of them in prior blogs. I think as more competition is out there, they will just keep getting better and better. Check out New Beauty Test Tube here, MyGlam video here and December 2011 MyGlam blog pictures here, Beauty Army, Go Go Girlfriend, and Eco Emi....just to name a few! Bonus: Here is my November 2011 Birchbox that I hadn't gotten around to posting until now! :)

Cute little Bauble Bar bracelet!

OMG the Biebs himself was caught wearing one! See this on their website here (product sold out...duh Justin Bieber wears it, why wouldn't I?) He wore it to the Oscars (or Oscars party?). Retails for $20. His had a black sparkly beaded jewel instead of silver....so much manlier.

Okay, so the chocolate was NASTY. It has chile powder in it or something crazy. Ick. It made both me and Justina sick and I only had 1 bite. I LOVE the ZOYA nail polish from their gems set. This is a super pretty blue color and is made without a lot of the bad things your nail polishes normally have in them. The Oscar Blandi spray is growing on us.

Yours in Beauty,
Jessica & Justina
