The product & instructions:
Wet n Wild Palette in 248 Lust ($2.99 on sale at Kmart)
- Prime your eyes. I used Urban Decay eye primer
- I used Stila One Step in kitten as a face primer. Add your foundation/powder. I used all bareMinerals products including my powder in fairly light, mineral veil all over, and well rested around my eye areas.
- With an eye shadow brush, apply color #1 all over the lid and up to the brow
- With an eye shadow brush, apply color #2 all over the lid starting at the lash line and moving upward. Basically pick up color with your brush and lightly pat this onto the lid area
- Using a crease or contour brush, apply color #3 into the crease and outer V area of the lid, blend in
- If you have applied too much or it is too dark of a look for you, blend in more with your finger
- Using the applicator that comes with, apply color #6 into the outer crease to add some shimmer
- Line your lower lash line with color #6 using an eye liner brush
- Apply a light color into the inner V area of your eye and blend this in to the inner V area of the eye. Color #4 would work well for this, but I used Stila's kitten to add some shimmer. I also brought this up to the brow and blended this in with some of the purples in areas it may have been too dark or not blended well enough
- Apply liquid black liner to your top lash
- Apply black liner to your bottom water line
- Apply your favorite mascara, I used Dior Show
- Apply subtle blush, I used elf blush in Pink Passion which is a pretty bright pink color, I applied this lightly with a blush brush
- Apply a nude or light pink lip. I used Wet n Wild in 547B which is a great lipstick for 99 cents
- I then applied makeup setting spray. I use Urban Decay All Nighter. My makeup didn't budge all night. I highly recommend this.
And there you go, you have the look of having your makeup done magically by little sugar plum fairies!
Happy Sunday!
Jessica
