Once Upon a Time's Evil Queen Makeup Look!

Okay, this one is just for fun! After seeing Justina's beautiful Snow White recreation click here, I decided sometimes its more fun being on the dark side! Enjoy :)

The look & eyes:

Too Faced Poison Orchard all over the lid

Too faced Poison Orchard is a vibrant purple color that is multi faceted.

The instructions:
  • I applied NYX Jumbo liner in black bean all over my lid (this is a creamy solid black color)
  • I then using an eye shadow brush, tapped Too Face Poison Orchard all over the lid (this is the shimmery purple color and one of my all time faves)
  • I heavily lined the lower lash line with black liner by Makeup For Ever
  • I also lined the lower lash line with my black L'oreal eye shadow called Lush Raven. This is a deep matte black.
  • I lined the lower lash line lightly with Too Faced Poison Orchard for some shimmer
  • On the outer lid, I applied a matte light blue color from my bareMinerals duo eye shadow called Illusion. I applied this on the outer lid, outer crease area and outer V
  • I blended this in with my finger
  • I used the other duo shadow in my bareMinerals called Mirage which is a shimmery multi faceted blue and gold color. I applied this in the outer crease area, patting it on lightly to add some shimmer with the blue
  • I blended in with my finger or a cutip any areas that needed blending
  • In the inner V, I applied a light gold color from my .99 cent Profusion palette and brought this up to the brow bone and blended it in slightly
  • I lined my upper lash line with NYX black liquid liner
  • I applied L'oreal Carbon Black mascara
  • Lipcolor is LA Girl Lip Gloss in Berry Wine
  • The headband/head piece is homemade
  • I pulled my hair back into a slick side pony tail look and secured the end of the pony tail. My hair isn't as long as hers, but am growing it out! hooray!
  • For my face, I used bareMinerals fairly light powder and well-rested under my eye area. I also used Palladio Rice Powder as a light finishing powder and Physician's Formula Pearl Mineral powder lightly with my kabuki for a little bit of shimmer
bareMinerals duo eye shadow that was used

Too Faced Poison Orchard can be applied in one stroke for a more everyday look
or it can be built up for a more dramatic look

Thanks! I had a lot of fun with this one! Be sure to subscribe to our blog.
